Jordyn l One Year Pictures

Little Jordy turned one year old at the beginning of December. I can't believe she is already one, where has the time gone!! Here are just a few pictures from her one year session, there will be many more to come! I recently got several new backdrops that I am super excited about so I will get some more up here soon for you to see. I tend to like doing outdoor shoots better but since her birthday is in December it has forced me to expand my home studio and I am actually really liking it. So be sure to check back soon!
It wasn't all smiles as we were taking these! In fact she looked more like this through most of these pictures, but we were able to get several smiles out of her. I was just amazed how at how long she left the hat on (which my mom made, by the way! Love it!).

Willits Family

I have to say that this is probably one of my favorite sessions I have done so far! I have been dying to take pictures at this location and even though it was FREEZING I think they turned out awesome! We even had some light snow falling on us, I just wish it would have shown better in the pictures but if you look closely you can see it in some. This great looking family is my aunt and uncle and cousins. It was so much fun spending an afternoon with them because I don't get to see them as much as I used to anymore. I can't believe how grown up the kids are, I remember when each of them was born!! Time sure does fly! I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek! I put up a ton because I couldn't narrow down!

Brotherly Love l Utah Children Photography

This was such a fun session. Since it has been so cold outside lately we decided to do this session down at the Salt Lake Library. It is such a neat building with so many fun options for pictures. These two boys were as sweet as can be. Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Brittnee and Neal

My best friend from high school and her husband were down from Idaho this weekend for Thanksgiving so we decided to get a little session in while they were here. And it ended up being a really fast session because me being the scatterbrain I am didn't realize the sun was down by 5 these days, so by the time we started this session the sun was already down! Yikes! We were still able to get some good shots, but I promise that sometime we can do a full session and get more! Here are a few of my favorites!

Hertel Family

This is a family of troopers! We scheduled this mini session for last Friday and planned to just do a black backdrop at my house but 15 minutes before the session dark clouds came in and runined the lighting in my house. So in order to not make them get ready another day we set it all up in my garage with the door open in order to get better light. It was cold, but I think we were able to get some good shots!

Barnes Family

These three ladies were a pleasure to take pictures of. We had a good time. They are such a fun little family and you can really tell how much they love each other!

Rasmussen Family

The Rasmussen's were the winners of my free photo session contest. They were such a fun family to photograph and as you can see they are such a good looking group! Although the little guy wasn't too thrilled to get his picture taken (just like most 3 year olds!), I feel like we were able to get some great shots. We took these over by South Towne Mall which probably seemed like a strange location at first, but the more I look through these I just love how they turned out. So thanks for letting me take them there. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
