Nielsen Family

How lucky am I to have this cute family as some of my neighbors? They are such a fun and active little family, I had a blast shooting these. And even though I made them blazen their way through a jungle in the heat and humidity to get to this spot I think that the shots we got were well worth it!
Haha sometimes I just love the pictures like the first one here. This was right at the end of our session and they had all done so well. But I do think that they were done!!

Olivia l One Year Pictures

Can I just say that when we moved into our neighborhood we had no idea how awesome all our neighbors were going to be. We have become good friends with this little cutie's parents and since her and Jordy are only like 6 weeks apart they are good little buddies too! Earlier this week we got together to take Olivia's 1 year pictures and even though we had a really hard time getting many smiles from her (her mom told me the next day that she cut 2 teeth the night we took them, poor girl), I still think we got some great shots! And I had a blast shooting on some of my new backdrops.
 Love love love this one!
We got a few with her dog Oscar too. There is nothing sweeter than a little girls love for her dog!
Isn't her little birthday outfit to die for??

Jordyn l One Year Pictures

Little Jordy turned one year old at the beginning of December. I can't believe she is already one, where has the time gone!! Here are just a few pictures from her one year session, there will be many more to come! I recently got several new backdrops that I am super excited about so I will get some more up here soon for you to see. I tend to like doing outdoor shoots better but since her birthday is in December it has forced me to expand my home studio and I am actually really liking it. So be sure to check back soon!
It wasn't all smiles as we were taking these! In fact she looked more like this through most of these pictures, but we were able to get several smiles out of her. I was just amazed how at how long she left the hat on (which my mom made, by the way! Love it!).
